The City Services Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in Mölndal municipality. The administration has approximately 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meal and local services, water and recycling, city maintenance, and staff and customer service.

The City Maintenance department has about 150 employees who manage the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's public environments. We are responsible for properties, streets, parks, and green areas as well as other areas both indoors and outdoors. Through our work, we contribute to a clean, safe, and pleasant city for residents and visitors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for an experienced gardener who is committed to performing good work. We offer a varied and creative job where you can contribute to creating pleasant and well-maintained outdoor environments.

The work primarily involves the maintenance of plantings, bathing areas, playgrounds, and natural areas. It may also involve the maintenance of schoolyards and preschool yards.

You will work in a team that focuses on the whole, where everyone helps each other and shares their experiences and knowledge in park maintenance. We also collaborate across unit boundaries to ensure an efficient and flexible operation.

On-call duty may become relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education and some further education in the green sector or extensive work experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is a requirement that you have experience working in park maintenance, and you may also have experience in forest clearing and tree felling. Experience and training in chainsaw B, brush cutter, aerial lift, and work on road 1.3 are meritorious. A B driver's license is required.

You are used to working independently and taking responsibility, but you thrive in a group and have good collaboration skills. You meet your surroundings in a responsive and respectful manner and contribute to a positive and good working climate.

It is also important that you have a flexible approach as this is a varied job and we sometimes need to adapt based on changed conditions.
